Audio tours can help visitors understand Jewish Izmir before or during a visit. The most useful routes connect the old Juderia, the synagogue cluster of Kemeraltı and the wider story of Sephardi life in the city.

KarDeş: Multicultural Memory Tours. A free mobile application from the Hrant Dink Foundation, in Turkish and English, with memory tours of Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir. Its Izmir content includes a Karataş tour drawing on oral history and a heritage inventory of synagogues, churches, mosques, schools and cemeteries.
